CDC Professional Body For Career Development
The Career Development Community (CDC) was formed in 2016 to set standards, advocate for, and promote high-quality career development for all. We do this by supporting people from all different backgrounds and championing the profession. We offer career guidance, provide continuous professional development (CPD) and training, and host online and face-to-face bootcamps, conferences, and events.

Structure that CDC is Built on.
The foundation is run by the executive members of the Career Development Community called the general body, who commit themselves to contributing their time and other resources for the existence of the foundation. Members are accepted on invitation and recommendation (academic qualities).
The general body is the highest authority, voting among themselves the members of the executive body. Nominating can be done themselves or by recommendation of other members and accepted by nominees. This is then followed by the simple majority rule.
The president, with the aid of the members of the executive body, may require members in sub-committees in an organizational body on a temporal basis to accomplish assignments; however, these committees will be headed by an executive body member(s).
Members of the executive body are elected every five years, and no member shall hold the same position for more than two terms consecutively.
The institution is governed via rules and regulations that are agreed upon at the general body level and to be executed by the executive body.
There is zero tolerance for any person gaining undue advantage from the institution’s resources (financial or material) through deception, illegal, or unethical means. Hence anyone found engaging in such acts shall be expelled from the institution, and without show of leniency will be liable to refund or reimburse the institution of its losses.
An annual audit is conducted as funding is obtained that involves a significant amount of resources. Interim audits upon the completion of milestones and a final audit upon completion for submission to sponsors. This may require the services of a professional audit firm, where applicable, especially involving sponsors.
